Learning outcomes of course unit
The participations are able to:
• recognize correlations in the valuation procedures and the different types of real estate
• understand the systematics of real estate valuation
• describe national valuation procedures, to apply them and to analyze them critically
• analyze specific approaches or peculiarities of different types of real estate
• carry out independent valuations of different types of real estate
• incorporate sustainability aspects such as energy efficiency, environmental impact and social responsibility into real estate valuations and assess their impact on market value
• implement and monitor AI-supported valuation models to perform accurate and efficient real estate valuations

• Fundamentals of real estate valuation
• Procedure and influencing factors of standardized valuation methods (comparative value method, asset value method, capitalized earnings value method, DCF method, residual value method)
• Introduction to the valuation of rights and encumbrances
• In-depth knowledge and specifics of national valuation methods
• In-depth knowledge and specifics of property valuation according to different property types
• Sustainability factors in real estate valuation
• Automation of valuation processes through AI-supported systems
