First cycle, Bachelor
Learning outcomes of course unit
The students are able to:
• Explain the basic principles and laws of thermodynamics.
• Understand the use of principles and laws for the design of machinery and equipment.
• Explain the procedure for the evaluation and comparison of real processes on the basis of comparison processes.
• Apply the principles and laws of thermodynamics to concrete problems (evaluation/design).
• Apply the principles and laws to machines and plants.
• Mathematically analyze and evaluate real processes on the basis of comparative processes.
