DIVERSITY & SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Cultivating diversity: Our international community embraces, values and promotes differences. In a non-discriminatory learning environment, we support each individual in achieving his or her goals.

INCLUSION & ACCESSIBILITY

ENSURING EQUAL RIGHTS AND ACCESS

At FH Kufstein Tirol, we are deeply committed to making education accessible to everyone - students, applicants, and visitors alike - regardless of physical, mental, or chronic disabilities. This commitment also extends to our faculty and staff. Our goal is to create personalized learning and working environments that truly meet the unique needs of each individual.

As part of networks such as Uniability, we actively engage in sharing and learning best practices to foster a culture of diversity and inclusion.

Openness and diversity are important at our university. We believe in a culture of appreciation and respect, actively support the participation of all and are constantly developing our organisation.

FAMILY-FRIENDLY HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION

COMBINING DEGREE PROGRAM AND FAMILY

Kufstein University of Applied Sciences actively supports the balance between studies, career and family. Certified as a family-friendly university since 2012, it offers a wide range of support options for students with children.

Childcare does not always adhere to fixed working hours - alternative working models are needed here that give parents the necessary flexibility. Student parents often also have to reconcile professional aspects, in which case family-friendliness means allowing exceptions in terms of attendance requirements or exam scheduling.
