Dates
The preparation course is only offered in the winter semester and is mandatory. This also applies to the supplementary English examinations.
In principle, you are flexible in terms of when you work on the content during the winter semester. However, try to stick to the given schedule so that you can take the exam.
The preparation course starts on 30.09.2024 on our WebLearn platform "moodle".
DATES OF ADDITIONAL EXAMINATIONS
The additional examinations must be successfully completed within the first two semesters. We strongly recommend taking the first exam date directly after the preparatory course, as this allows for up to two additional retake opportunities before the start of studies if needed.
The additional examinations are held at the FH Kufstein Tirol on the following dates:
- Friday, 13.12.2024, 09.00 - 11.00 am
- Friday, 24.01.2025, 09.00 - 11.00 am
- Friday, 07.03.2025, 09.00 - 11.00 am
There are no further examination dates.
Benefits

Didactic Concept
In this course, you will work through 30 structured learning units independently using the Business Partner B2 textbook. The course includes six main units from the textbook, each divided into five subunits, which are accessible digitally via Moodle quizzes.
You may attempt the quizzes multiple times, with only the highest score recorded, and they must be completed in a set order to ensure logical progression. Each unit also provides chapter reviews and additional practice exercises on the My English Lab platform.
Prerequisites
- You are only entitled to participate in the course once payment has been received. You will receive the invoice digitally to your e-mail account at least 2 weeks before the start of the course.
Certificate
- For the regular final exam to be included in the grade calculation, students must achieve an average of 70 % across all Moodle activities. The final course grade will then be weighted as 60 % textbook units and assessments and 40 % comprehensive exam (conducted online with video recording). Alternative for students who score below 70 % on Moodle activities: The final grade will be based solely on the comprehensive exam, which will include an additional oral interview (both online with video recording). In order to pass the course, students must achieve an overall mark of at least 60 %.
