PROFILE OF THE COURSES
In the 2024/25 academic year, students can choose from the following additional extra-curricular language modules. The modules listed each include two consecutive courses with 67.5 course units per semester.
The prerequisites listed refer to the winter semester; the prerequisite for the advanced courses in the summer semester is the successful completion (or equivalent competencies) of the winter semester course. The personal contribution per semester is EUR 100.
The timetable is designed in such a way that no conflicts arise for full-time Bachelor's students if the accompanying language modules are taken in the same academic year as the language modules included in the curriculum. Students on part-time or Master's degree programs should check their regular course planning for conflicts before registering for additional foreign language modules.
LEARNING CONTENT
The study-integrated language modules offered are designed according to the methodological principles of a communicative, action-oriented approach. The competence levels of the modules are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and a central objective is for students to improve their communication skills by at least one level through the two consecutive courses in the winter and summer semesters. In addition, the advanced language courses have a clear focus on the acquisition of academic and business-oriented skills.
The language modules comprise 67.5 course units per semester.
