Key points

  • Training and coaching

We support students, course participants and lecturers in university teaching.

  • Teaching and learning support

We accompany the learning process of students and course participants through e-Tutors to enable teachers to focus on the essential course content.

  • Media production

We promote the use of media in teaching appropriate to the university by creating modern and innovative e-learning elements.

  • Evaluation

We ensure the quality of digital teaching by reviewing teaching and learning outcomes.

  • Research

We develop innovative didactics and the use of new teaching/learning technologies.

BLENDED LEARNING

Our higher education institution focuses on the concept of blended learning. This combines traditional attendance phases with online learning phases in order to make the most of the strengths of both forms of teaching.

This mix offers our students and course participants clear added value. During the online phases, they can access the learning content digitally and at any time as required. During the on-site events, they have space for exchange and discussion. This allows students to consolidate their theoretical knowledge in the long term by applying it to practice-oriented issues during the face-to-face phases.

Problems that often occur with purely online courses, such as challenges in time and self-management or the lack of personal contact with lecturers, can also be avoided in this way.
