Companies are facing ever greater challenges. Changes in the work and production process (Working World 4.0 and Industry 4.0) do not allow for standstill, but require agile action from all players in the business environment.

Individual scientific disciplines can no longer explain the complexity of all economic processes; interdisciplinary approaches are needed to open up new avenues. Digitalization and globalization are fundamentally changing the world of work. New business models, strategies and forms of communication are the result.

Business psychology as a sub-discipline of psychology deals with the experience and behavior of people in a business context (see Moser & Soucek, 2015). It therefore sees itself as an interdisciplinary addition and interface to the core competence of business administration in management. In corporate management, the view is becoming increasingly established that psychological skills are a key determinant of success alongside economic objectives.
