Learning outcomes of the courses/module

Students are able to apply their knowledge about the principles of computer networks and their components
in order to design, implement, and configure distributed applications and in order to support the selection
of appropriate software and hardware for computer networks.

Prerequisites for the course

Courses of the previous semester successfully completed.

Course content

Configuration of networks and components (hosts, switches, routers); planning, configuration, and testing
of TCP/IP-based networks; subnetting
