National Celebration Days: Diversity in Practice at the FH Kufstein Tirol

The FH Kufstein Tirol set a strong example of internationality by organizing the National Celebration Days together with students from all over the world in the winter semester of 2024/2025. These special days were all about cultural diversity and provided a stage to honor the unique traditions and customs of international students.

The small celebrations took place in the International Relations Office, where students were invited to a cozy get-together. As a gesture of appreciation, the students also received a voucher for the cafeteria, which encouraged them to exchange ideas and get to know each other.

A special highlight of the events was a creative photo campaign: a group photo was taken for each nation, which not only captured the memories of the students, but was also sent to partner universities worldwide as a greeting.

CULTURAL DIVERSITY AND INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE

Each day offered a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the students' countries of origin and to celebrate the diversity of the international community at the FH Kufstein Tirol. At the same time, it allowed the International Relations Office to gain valuable insights into the exchange students' experiences in Kufstein and how they have been faring so far.
 
These National Celebration Days emphasize the importance of cultural exchange and international cooperation at the FH Kufstein Tirol. They not only offer students the opportunity to represent their home countries, but also strengthen the higher education institution's global network.
