This position is affiliated with the degree programs in Data Science & Intelligent Analytics (MSc), Web Engineering & IT Solutions (MSc), and Coding & Digital Design (BSc).

  • Teaching in the fields of software development, data engineering, big data processing, and data analytics in both German and English at the bachelor's and master's levels
  • Option to assume the role of degree program director
  • Personal freedom in the design of teaching and research content
  • Independent conception and realization of research projects
  • Development and pursuit of your own research priorities and professional networking
  • Active participation in the academic administration of the University and the proactive development of its degree programs

qualification profile

  • Completed diploma or master's degree in the fields of data science, computer science, industrial engineering, or comparable degree
  • Doctorate or comparable proof of the ability to conduct scientific work is an asset
  • Excellent pedagogical and didactic skills
  • Professional experience in the field is an asset


In addition to a competitive gross salary starting at EUR 63,000 p.a. (full-time; depending on qualifications, experience, and individual competencies), we offer an attractive incentive program as well as a wide range of training and development opportunities.
