SUPPORT FOR PROFESSIONAL ORIENTATION
Fh4schools
As part of our fh4schools program, we offer a wide range of opportunities to inspire curiosity about university studies, discover individual strengths and ignite passions for exciting and future-oriented professional fields.
Our diverse fh4Schools program is primarily aimed at high school students aged 15 to 18. In addition, we also offer programs for the lower school age groups from 10 to 14 years and elementary schools from 6 to 10 years.
SCHOOL VISITS & WORKSHOPS
FH Workshop Academy (15-18 years)
The FH Workshop Academy combines contemporary and practical content that is useful and tangible in everyday life. Digitalization, sustainability, business and finance at your fingertips - here you and your school class will gain insights into selected research and fields of specialisation of our bachelor's degree programs.
Visit to your school (15-18 years)
We will be happy to visit you virtually or in person at your school and inform you and your class about the wide range of study opportunities at the FH Kufstein Tirol.
- Duartion: 30-60 minutes
We are also happy to take part in information events at your school.

You and your school class have the opportunity to gain a comprehensive insight into our campus and our range of courses as part of an individually designed program:
- House or laboratory tour
- Overview of the university degree programs
- Presentation of an individual field of study
- Taster lecture from a degree program
Duration: 30-40 minutes per program item
Visit the Tyrolean universities at your school (15-18 Jahre)
Together with six other educational and advisory institutions, we offer visits, short presentations and counseling stands for secondary schools in Tyrol.
Duration: 2 hours
kubi-Training courses (10-18 years)
Are you dealing with the topic of academic writing in class? The team at kubi, the Kufstein Library for Science & Leisure, offers age-appropriate courses for both lower and upper school students:
- Introductory courses on search engines and databases
- Workshops on literature research for (pre-)scientific work
EVENTS
Open House
Our open house days offer a special insight into the campus and our range of courses with taster lectures, lab tours and workshops. The focus is on personal interaction with students and teaching staff.

kubi Days
Creative workshops on two event days at the kubi. The focus is on an exciting escape game.
Meet & Match
The annual careers fair at FH Kufstein Tirol with around 40 exhibiting companies brings both regional and (inter)national companies into contact with pupils, students and graduates.
Long Night of Research
Every two years, the campus of the FH Kufstein Tirol is transformed into a showcase for the latest technologies and research areas from Kufstein and the surrounding area as part of the nationwide “Long Night of Research”. Many stands offer a special program for children and young people.
kubi-Readings (all ages)
Throughout the year, kubi readings are held for classes on a wide variety of topics.
SUMMER INTERNSHIPS
FFG-TALENT DEVELOPMENT
As part of a summer internship, we offer pupils the opportunity to get a taste of ongoing research projects. The variety of topics varies depending on the department and reflects the research activities of the higher education institution. Participation is funded by the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) and can be completed during the summer months. Applications are possible starting in March.

EUR 3,000 travel grant from the FH Kufstein Tirol for the Matura/Abi trip.
Young Scientist Energy Award
COMPETITION
For secondary schools that deal with ideas on energy, sustainability and the environment. Award prize money in the amount of EUR 250,-

COMPETITION
For students who have ideas to implement a business idea with a starting capital of €7 within 7 weeks. Prize money in the amount of EUR 600,-
Fit4Business@School
COMPETITION
For students who are involved in the development and implementation of innovative business ideas. Prize money in the amount of EUR 1000,-
