SCHOLARSHIP FOR Ice hockey-PROS

As part of a cooperation, the FH Kufstein Tirol and the HC Kufstein Dragons ice hockey team offer an attractive scholarship for students.

CAREER duo

Interested students have the chance to study at FH Kufstein Tirol while playing for the professional ice hockey team in Kufstein. Selected students not only get to focus on their sports career but also enjoy a range of benefits and advantages.

THE CLUB - HC KUFSTEIN DRAGONS

HC Kufstein is a professionally run ice hockey club with teams in several top leagues: the 1st team competes in Austria's third-highest league, the 2nd team in the top Tyrolean league, and the women's team in the highest Austrian league. Since its founding in 1948, HC Kufstein has won the Elite League title twice. The teams train at the Kufstein Arena, which features a 2000 m² covered ice surface, a 1500 m² Canadian ice surface, and 700 seats in the stands. It’s a lively place during games.

The club is dedicated to enhancing professionalism and building successful teams in Austrian amateur ice hockey. A dedicated office supports players, coaches, partners, and members, and players in the men’s 1st team receive an expense allowance.

The club’s slogan, “Passion has a name - Kufstein Dragons,” reflects its core values. Chairman Roland Luchner emphasizes that this passion extends to new players and scholarship holders. The coaching staff, including the head coach, assistant coach, and goalkeeping coach, along with a medical team of two doctors, ensures players receive top-notch support.
