The students are able to: • understand the connections between economy, society and politics against the background of individual and organizational responsibility. • recognize and critically discuss ethical issues in practice. • differentiate between different approaches to corporate governance. • reflect the demands of various stakeholders against an ethical background.

• Ethics and morals in theory and practice • Discussion of orthodox management approaches (including principal-agent theory, shareholder value approach) from an ethical perspective • Soft- vs. hard-law and its influence on the sustainability of management decisions • Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
