Learning outcomes of the courses/module

The students are able to:
• Understand and question international developments and their impact on Energy and Sustainability Management.
• Describe and question current global trends in the industry
• Understand and question different approaches to specific problems in Energy and Sustainability Management.
• Understand dynamics of culture, identity and intercultural encounter
• Take a position on values, stereotypes and prejudices
• Describe intercultural interaction, communication and conflict skills and apply them in intercultural settings.
• Understand intercultural differences and be able to react appropriately to them in the area of Energy and Sustainability Management

Prerequisites for the course

all contents of the modules from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd semester

Course content

Students must complete an accompanied study trip / trip abroad with a specialist program. Within the scope of the study trip / trip abroad, the following contents are taught:
• Introduction and consolidation of international Best - and Real Case projects from the Energy and Sustainability Management practice as well as studies from research
• Current topics of research and development by participation in international conferences
• Research and analysis of international Best Case projects for Energy and Sustainability Management
• Visit of international Best Case projects for Energy and Sustainability Management
• Application of intercultural skills and highlighting of particularities and challenges of intercultural projects for Energy and Sustainability Management
