Learning outcomes of the courses/module

The students are able to:
• understand the connections between economy, society and politics against the background of individual and organi-zational responsibility.
• recognize and critically discuss ethical issues in practice.
• differentiate between different approaches to corporate governance.
• reflect the demands of various stakeholders against an ethical background and integrate them into management considerations.

• Ethics and morals in theory and practice
• Discussion of orthodox management approaches (among others: principal agent theory, shareholder value approach) from an ethical perspective
• Soft- vs. hard-law and its influence on the sustainability of management decisions
• Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
