Students will be able:
- to identify and evaluate key HR issues which critically impact on organizational performance and strategic direction.
- to understand and recognize the influence of changes in the external influences and contemporary issues on strategic HRM.
- to develop critical evaluation skills using multiple and competing perspectives.
- to develop an awareness of the complexity and importance of strategic human resource management.
- to analyze different kinds of information and data and clearly articulate and present arguments and ideas.

Course content
The course covers various topics relevant to strategic HRM, for example such as ‚hard‘ and ‚soft‘ models of HRM, modern organizational structures and notion of culture, external influences on SHRM, flexible working, reward management, talent Management and/or equality and diversity in the workplace.
