Prof. (FH) Dr. Martin Adam, Head of ERP Systems & Business Process Management, ERP Endowed Professor Dr. Nico Deistler and Prof. (FH) Dr. Thomas Madritsch, Managing Director of the Kufstein University of Applied Sciences, are looking forward to working with the All for One Group (from left to right).

The IT consulting company All for One is establishing a competence centre for the further development of ERP systems together with the Kufstein University of Applied Sciences.

The newly created ERP competence centre at Kufstein University of Applied Sciences combines the specialist knowledge of the educational institution with the practical expertise of the All for One Group, a leading international IT, consulting and service provider for SAP, as well as decades of ERP experience, primarily in the SME sector. The aim of the co-operation is to establish itself as a pioneer in both the further development and implementation of ERP systems in the Alpine foothills. The collaboration began in July 2024.

DR. NICO DEISTLER IS NEW FOUNDATION PROFESSOR

Thanks to the cooperation, Dr Nico Deistler has been appointed as a foundation professor. He works at the auditing and consulting firm KPMG in Mannheim and has been teaching the ERP modules Administration and Scheduling Systems, Planning and Control Systems and Customizing, Modification in the part-time Master's degree programme ERP Systems & Business Process Management since October. "By awarding this endowed professorship, we have succeeded in bringing even more expertise from the business world to the Kufstein University of Applied Sciences and making our part-time Master's degree programme even more practice-oriented," says Prof. (FH) Dr. Martin Adam, Head of the ERP Systems & Business Process Management degree programme. Students will also benefit from new business collaborations and competitions that will challenge their innovative strength. Practical projects are planned with the companies SAP Deutschland SE & Co. KG and FRITZ EGGER GmbH & Co. OG. A new edition of the ERP hackathon is set to start in the summer semester of 2025

"This partnership in combination with the new offers for students emphasises the Kufstein University of Applied Sciences' position as a practice-oriented university," says Prof. (FH) Dr. Thomas Madritsch, Managing Director of the Kufstein University of Applied Sciences. Regional small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will also benefit from the new competence centre: Their employees gain new knowledge about ERP systems as part of a summer school.

In addition to teaching, the ERP team is also involved in the area of IT compliance. The centre's research focuses on IT security in SMEs. "We want SMEs to recognise the advantages of ERP systems and find ways to benefit from them while remaining compliant," says Deistler.

CENTRE FOR BUSINESS EXCELLENCE AND DIGITALISATION OF PROCESSES

Looking to the future, the All for One Group and the FH Kufstein Tirol are planning to further expand the competence centre and intensify cooperation with regional companies. The aim is to further advance research activities in the field of IT compliance and ERP systems and thus promote digitalisation and efficiency improvements in SMEs in the long term. "The cooperation combines research and practice with the very specific aim of generating business benefits for customers. We are looking forward to working together - and to our first joint ERP conference, which will take place on 16 May. The agenda will include an exchange with local companies on current challenges in the digitalisation of production, logistics and service," says Horst Lambauer, Managing Director of All for One Austria.
