Research and mobility: new opportunities in India

The partnership between Banasthali University in India and the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol was extended on location by CEO Thomas Madritsch. The purpose of the extension is to foster the exchange of students and teachers and to intensify cooperation in research and development.
During a visit by CEO Thomas Madritsch of the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol, the partnership agreement between the renowned university institute Banasthali Vidyapith in Rajasthan, India, and the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol was officially extended. The aim of this agreement is to strengthen cooperation in the areas of student exchange, staff mobility, research and development.
BANASTHALI VIDYAPITH: PIONEERS IN WOMEN'S EDUCATION IN INDIA
Banasthali Vidyapith is a leading educational institute that focuses exclusively on the education of women. Since its founding over 75 years ago, the institute has become a major national center for women's education in India. With a broad educational program, Banasthali currently offers training from primary school level to Ph.D. to around 16,000 women.
PARTNERSHIP in EDUCATION AND EMPOWERMENT
During the visit, numerous similarities between the two higher education institutions were identified. Banasthali Vidyapith is particularly strong in the fields of artificial intelligence, data science and analytics, industrial design, drone technology, aeronautical engineering and fashion and art. These areas offer numerous points of contact for in-depth cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol, which is also dedicated to research and development.
In December, we are expecting a visit from Dr. Anshuman Shastri, Director of International Relationship and Artificial Intelligence at Banasthali University. We are looking forward to further deepening our partnership, initiating new projects and showing him around our campus.
