As part of the Tyrolean Innovation Week, the event FIT4BUSINESS - FROM IDEA TO BUSINESS MODEL took place at the Kufstein University in mid-March. This event offered those interested in start-up topics a good opportunity for exchange, networking and learning.

The highlight of the evening, which was offered as part of the Startup.Club Tirol - Edition Kufstein series, was the inspiring testimonials from founders who shared their experiences on the path from idea to flourishing business model. Special attention was paid to the finalists of the annual Fit4Business business idea competition in the Tyrolean lowlands. “The audience of around 40 received exclusive insights into four fascinating start-up projects, which were characterized by their diversity and excitement,” said initiator and moderator Dipl.-Kfm. Karin Steiner, university lecturer for Business Management and Entrepreneurship at Kufstein University.

• Constantin Badawi, founder of Kombiticket Austria, presented his plans to expand his start-up to include sports combi-tickets, which allow fans to attend several sporting events with just one ticket. The successful implementation in Vienna and Vorarlberg is now to be extended to Kufstein and Kitzbühel.

• Jurij Tkaciov, winner of the last round of the Kufstein start-up ideas competition Fit4Business, presented his company FaceAR, which specializes in augmented reality (AR) solutions and offers innovative tools for improved digital interactions.

• Christian Stöger reported on his Mobile Healing Massage project, which brings various healing treatments and massages directly to the customer's home, whereby he also offers prescribed medical treatments as an optional therapist for health insurance companies.

• Benedikt Hesse presented INSTAFRAME, a platform that enables independent photographers and artists to easily sell their work to fans as print products.

The FIT4BUSINESS - FROM IDEA TO BUSINESS MODEL event proved to be an inspiring forum for anyone interested in entrepreneurship and innovation and once again underlined the role of Kufstein University as an incubator for future entrepreneurs. In addition, it offered insights into the challenges and successes of the start-up phase and enabled an intensive exchange about the milestones in the development from the business idea to the ideal time for dialog. The open pitch also provided a platform for participants to present their own ideas.
