The Family Business Day offers me the opportunity to exchange ideas with family entrepreneurs, experts and students and to discuss current challenges and opportunities for family businesses. The exciting presentations and panel discussions on current topics and best practice examples in particular provide new perspectives, inspiration and knowledge for me and my work.

I had known about the Family Business Day for some time, but this year was my first time there and I was more than impressed. Even before the event, I was expecting exciting input, but I would never have thought how in-depth and informative the input and approaches were that I was able to take away from the really high-calibre presentations.

Family Business Day: Family entrepreneurs share their experiences in the course of a company succession or in overcoming crises. Various managers gave an authentic and practical insight into how they overcame different challenges.

Guido von Rohr

Owner of FAGUS Management

The Family Business Day gives you the opportunity to gain direct insights from entrepreneurs, from SMEs to global corporations. Especially if you have a business "at home" yourself, you can take a lot away from it. The opportunity to bring up personal concerns in the subsequent question and discussion session offers the advantage of learning from each other and being able to utilise the experiences of entrepreneurs rather than just taking textbook theories into account.

Diana Baldinger

Student Business Management

Having attended the Family Business Day for the first time, I went home very impressed. For me, it was a great platform to give courage and confidence to those who don't like to leave their comfort zone. That's exactly what matters. Whether external or internal challenges, we heard "everything" from the speakers. I was most touched by the presentations by Andrea Berghofer and Josef Dygruber. The concluding summary by Prof Markus Weishaupt was ultimately an accolade for the audience.
