Open House: Experience studying up close

Insight into the Open House of the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol: prospective students find out about the range of courses and campus life at the information stands.

Insight into campus life: At the Open House of the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol, 248 visitors explored the 28 degree programs, attended lectures and discovered laboratories and taster lectures. The next opportunity will be on April 5, 2025 – for the first time until 2 p.m. and with an exclusive Master Lounge.

On Saturday, February 1, 2025, the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol opened its doors and offered prospective students a comprehensive insight into the range of courses and everyday campus life. All 28 degree programs presented themselves with their own information booths at the open house. A total of 248 visitors, many of them with companions, took the opportunity to receive individual advice, while the specialist lectures reached a total of 344 listeners.

COMPREHENSIVE INFORMATION 

In addition to advising sessions about study opportunities, visitors received valuable information about admission to the Kufstein University and about organizational topics such as the integrated semester abroad. The Kufstein Uni offers cooperation with 235 international partner universities worldwide – from Vietnam to Madrid to Georgia. The International Relations Office (IRO) team was available to answer any questions about studying abroad.

A look behind the scenes

Campus tours, lab experiments and taster lectures provided a practical insight into the degree program. The tours took in all four buildings, including the Automation and Makers Lab, where demonstrations – for example of the 3D printer – offered exciting insights into the subject areas.

EXCLUSIVE INSIGHTS INTO THE MASTER'S PROGRAMS

For those who were specifically interested in a master's program, there were individual advising opportunities. At the booths of the respective degree programs, as well as in taster lectures, visitors were able to talk directly to the Directors of Studies.

Save the Date: Open House on April 5, 2025

The next opportunity to get to know the campus and the range of courses offered by the FH Kufstein Tirol will be on Saturday, April 5, 2025. For the first time, the event will last until 2:00 p.m. In addition, the Master Lounge will take place on this day – an exclusive advising opportunity for prospective master's students. After registering, participants will receive an individual appointment for a personal conversation on site or online via MS Teams.

Those interested in a master's program can get advice on the following questions, among others:

  • I have a bachelor's program that is not relevant to the field – what can I do?
  • What career prospects and opportunities for advancement will I have after completing my master's degree?
  • Do I need specialized knowledge for a technical master's program?
