Successful panel discussion at the Kufstein University highlights health aspects of sport. The event took place as part of a practical project of the Sport, Culture & Event Management degree program and attracted numerous visitors to the “Festsaal” (Festivities Hall) at Kufstein University of Applied Sciences.
On 19 June, a high-profile panel discussion took place at the Kufstein University, organized by students from the Sport, Culture & Event Management degree program. Under the title Sporty and Sustainable, experts from the fields of training, sports science, junior competitive sport and sports medicine came together to discuss the health aspects of sport and current challenges such as pressure to perform and doping.
FOCUS ON HEALTH AND PERFORMANCE
The event attracted sports enthusiasts and offered in-depth insights into the effects of sports activities on health. In room A.0.03 of the Kufstein University, different perspectives on health sports and competitive sports were presented, with the discussion emphasizing the need for a balanced approach to promoting athletic health and performance.
INTERACTIVE EXCHANGE AND LIVELY DISCUSSIONS
The discussion was opened by the moderator, followed by a detailed introduction of the experts. During the lively discussion, numerous questions from the audience were taken up, underlining the interactive nature of the event. At the end, the participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas over drinks and continue the discussions in an informal setting.
