Massive changes in the markets due to digitalization, climate and the turn of an era also require new knowledge at the highest corporate level. The seminar was conducted by the Kufstein University expert in strategic corporate management, Roman Stöger.
Prof. (FH) Dr. Roman Stöger, Professor of Strategic Management at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol, held the strategy seminar for supervisory boards at the University of Labour in Frankfurt on October 22. The companies involved included Mercedes Benz, Daimler Truck, ZF Friedrichshafen, GEA and Robert Bosch GmbH. 800,000 members of staff / employees generate a turnover of 330 billion euros in these companies.
ACTIVE SHAPING OF THE NEW WORLD REQUIRED
Twenty members of supervisory boards from the participating companies have dealt intensively with the content and methods of strategic management. The focus was on shaping the “New World”. Supervisory boards and Chairmen of the Boards of the companies are currently setting the course for the future. With its diverse skills in digitalization, sustainability, corporate governance, etc., the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol contributes to navigating business customers in the VUCA world (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity).
Roman Stöger's main concern is the practical application of business-related topics and management tools. The focus here is on implementation, effectiveness and results: “We live in a world that does not lack ideas, but rather implementation. The biggest challenge is to make people and organizations effective,” summarizes Stöger.
