The GREENE 4.0 team from Kufstein University presented the project, which focuses on promoting sustainable innovations in cross-border regions, at the im:puls Forum Rosenheim.

In mid-November, the University of Applied Sciences in Kufstein was part of the im:puls Forum Rosenheim. The motto of this year's event was Don't Panic! How high-tech ecology and optimism can save our future.

The Rosenheim im:puls Forum, which was launched in 2022 with the idea of bringing together stakeholders from business and politics on the topics of sustainability, the future and digitalization, served as a platform for innovation and networking this year. As a participant, Kufstein University used the platform not only to exhibit GREENE 4.0, but also to build new partnerships with industrial companies to promote joint solutions for sustainable innovations.

RAISING AWARENESS FOR GREENE 4.0

As part of the exhibition, the GREENE 4.0 team from Kufstein University focused on providing information and cultivating contacts. “The aim was not only to raise awareness of GREENE 4.0, but also to attract potential partner companies that want to transform their production processes on the one hand and offer solutions for manufacturing industries on the other and would like to participate in this forward-looking project,” said Selina-Maria Schiller, Junior Researcher Corporate Management at the Kufstein University. “Valuable contacts were made through discussions and personal conversations and cooperation was encouraged.”

SOLUTIONS FOR SUSTAINABLE AND DIGITAL PROCESSES

The GREENE 4.0 project, which stands for Green Regions Enabling Energy Networks and Efficiency in 4.0-Industry, has a vision: to make companies in Central Europe fit for the future. This includes being both digitally and ecologically innovative. To achieve this, GREENE 4.0 offers a platform that provides solutions for sustainable and digital processes. The platform connects providers of technologies and resources with companies that want to transform themselves. GREENE 4.0 is still in the development phase and is currently mapping the existing offers and needs in the region.

INTERESTED COMPANIES ARE VERY WELCOME

Companies that want to transform their processes or offer solutions for this and expand their customer base are welcome to participate in the project. The benefits here include integration into an international network of technology providers and manufacturing companies (from Slovenia, Italy, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary), as well as active involvement in the design of the platform.
