Project Objectives
The image of tourism as an employer has declined, despite many positive aspects like the enjoyment of working with people and global job opportunities. The main reasons for its reduced appeal include irregular hours, night and weekend work, low wages, and time pressure. This project aims to build a sustainable, cross-border network to provide modern teaching and learning methods for management and employee development, with the goal of enhancing tourism's attractiveness as a career.
- Increasing the appeal of tourism as a career
- Improving the image of the tourism industry
- Positioning local tourism businesses as attractive workplaces
- Promoting longer-term employment relationships in the tourism sector
