The tour of the Valencia CF stadium was one of the highlights of the trip.

Students of the Master's program in Digital Marketing at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol traveled to Valencia. The study trip offered exciting lectures, insights into innovative agencies and cultural highlights – an ideal combination of theory and practice.

Both full-time and part-time students in the Master's program in Digital Marketing at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol experienced a varied study trip to Valencia from October 7 to 11, 2024. The Spanish port city impressed with a successful mix of cultural highlights, academic events and practical insights into modern marketing. Valencia presented itself not only from its most beautiful side, but also from its most inspiring side.

ACADEMIC INSIGHTS AND MARKETING IN PRACTICE

A central element of the trip was a visit to renowned higher education institutions and innovative companies. At the Universidad Católica de Valencia, the students took part in an interactive lecture in English that challenged and inspired them with practical tasks and discussions.

The EDEM Business School impressed with its practice-oriented approach and close links to companies. Here it became clear how higher education institutions and business can work together to create synergies.

In addition, the students learned about the creative processes of leading marketing agencies. At Goose & Hopper, they gained insights into how innovative campaigns are created. WeWow showed how modern marketing strategies are successfully implemented and gave the participants valuable inspiration for their professional future.

CULTURAL HIGHLIGHTS AND THE SPANISH WAY OF LIFE

Besides the academic program, Valencia impressed with cultural and culinary experiences. A guided tour through the historic old town led to architectural highlights such as the futuristic Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències, whose impressive exhibitions were a particular highlight.

Spanish cuisine was not neglected either: a paella dinner and tasting regional specialties such as “Agua de Valencia” gave an insight into the region's culinary delights. Some students even took advantage of the pleasant weather to take a dip in the Mediterranean.

SPORT AND RECREATION IN VALENCIA

For the group's sports fans, the tour of the famous Valencia CF stadium was a special experience. Fascinating anecdotes about the club's history and the importance of football in Spain gave a vivid insight into the local sporting culture.

In their free time, the students were able to explore the city on their own, enjoy the sunny weather and experience the unique atmosphere of Valencia.

CONCLUSION: AN INSPIRING JOURNEY

The study trip to Valencia offered an ideal combination of theory and practice. Academic lectures, practical insights into marketing companies, and the cultural and culinary highlights of the Spanish port city left a lasting impression.

The students returned to Kufstein with new ideas and valuable experiences – ready to apply what they had learned to their next projects and challenges.
